As a trailblazer in her community, Leslie has achieved numerous firsts, including becoming the first African American and female Municipal Judge in Uplands Park, Missouri, the first African American and female Chair of the St. Louis County Board of Equalization, and the first African American woman to run for St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney. She has worked with organizations across industries to implement innovative strategies for employee success and has served as a political strategist for the current Ferguson Mayor and presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.
Beyond her professional endeavors, Leslie is passionate about community service and serves as the 2nd Vice President of Iota Phi Lambda Sorority, Inc., Eta Alpha Chapter, where she is a proud chartering member.
