Have you ever wanted to try your hand at ceramic firing that’s bold, smoky, and full of surprise? Join us for an unforgettable two-day Raku firing workshop where you'll learn alternative ceramic techniques in a relaxed, hands-on environment — no experience needed!
With visiting artist Tim Isaac — a seasoned potter with 35+ years of experience — and local ceramic artist Jenna Ross, you’ll explore:
The dramatic process of Raku firing
The natural, burnt surface decoration of Obvara
How to use feathers and horsehair for striking carbon markings
🗓 Workshop Dates:
June 14, 9AM–5PM & June 15, 9AM–3PM
Held at Jenna’s Place in Knowlesville
Fee: $200/person (Includes 2 firing days + making-day instruction, all materials, and your own pots to take home!)

June 15, 5PM at the River Art Centre, Florenceville-Bristol —

⚠️ Important: Your pots must be made and bisque fired in advance. We’re offering special prep sessions at the River Art Centre (8746 Main St, Florenceville-Bristol) to help you get ready:
