Join us on Wednesday, August 27th in the parking lot of the old Ramada Inn in Florence for a Community Health & Resource Fair.
This free, family-friendly event marks the first time Welvista's Medication Assistance Pharmacy (MAP) is bringing together a wide network of healthcare and community partners in a single space to serve the Florence area. Attendees will have the opportunity to connect with vital services such as:
-Free health screenings
-Health education and wellness resources
-Food and nutrition assistance
-Connection to local service providers and nonprofit organizations
-Information on HIV/STI prevention and PrEP
-Toiletries and personal care items from each vendor—supporting those who are transient or facing housing instability
-Prescription Medication Assistance through MAP
Our team will be on-site to help individuals apply for
Welvista’s Medication Assistance Pharmacy (MAP) at the event.
If you are interested in signing up, please bring these items
with you:
-Proof of Physical Address (a document showing your
current residential address, such as a utility bill or
official mail)
-Photo ID (a copy of your driver’s license, state ID card,
or passport)
-Proof of Income for Each Person in Your Home (see
complete list of requirements here)

Each participating vendor is required to bring toiletries or personal care items for at least 250 people to be distributed during the event. These items – such as soap, toothpaste, deodorant, feminine products, or hygiene kits- are essential for our transitional and underserved community members.
