"The Heart Speaks" Original Monologues & Improv Games

July 21 - 25, 2025

Mon-Fri 10 am to 2 pm

Performance Fri at 7 pm


This year's Advanced Acting Students will write and perform an original monologue from deep within their own hearts. Perhaps a moment that was inspiring, scary, uplifting, or worrisome will be the inspiration for the student's original work. Utilizing techniques designed by Sanford Meisner, Stella Adler, and Konstantin Stanislavski, students will learn that writing and performing a piece can have a profound effect on processing and remembering events and experiences.


There will be an informal public performance held at the end of the camp on Friday July 25th, at 7 PM. Participants must agree to perform if they wish to participate in this camp. We will also share games and other camp adventures.

AAC Camp hours are 10 am to 2 pm. Minimum Age: 12+. Cost: $160 + $15 for camp T-shirt. Participation in this camp is by audition or invitation. Ask us for information if you are new to C.R.O.W. and would like to participate. Instructed by: Melanie Heard & Autumn Barrett.
