The Second Annual Breathe Bright Fundraiser

Join us on Sunday, August 24, 2025, for the Second Annual Breathe Bright Fundraiser at the Flint Farmer's Market. This family-friendly event will take place from 12 to 3 p.m. There will be live music, drinks, raffles, and t-shirts available for purchase.

The cost is $25 for adults 21+, $15 for ages 13-20, and free for children 12 and under. Tickets include one drink ticket and food.

Darby Rinke was First Day Homecare’s first pediatric, private-duty nursing patient. Darby will forever hold a special place in our hearts. To honor his memory, we founded the Darby Rinke & First Day Homecare Vent Program Support Fund, which benefits infants and children in the Pediatric Ventilator Clinic at the University of Michigan Health C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital.

All of the funds raised directly support children like Darby and help fund research to discover better treatment options for infants and children on home ventilators. Breathe Bright intends to be an annual community event for the purpose of bringing individuals together to support and raise additional proceeds for the Vent Program Support Fund.
