Written by Alison Pollard-Mansergh, Faulty Towers The Dining Experience began in 1997 at the Rydges Hotel in Brisbane. Since then, it has been seen by over one million people worldwide in 43 countries, making it ‘one of the greatest theatre exports from Australia’ (Glam Adelaide).
The show had its first London performance in 2009 with a sold-out weekend in Covent Garden, followed by summer seasons. In 2012, it opened its first West End residency at the Charing Cross Hotel, which became a record-breaking 10-year run. In 2022, it moved to the President Hotel in Bloomsbury where it continues its record breaking run.
Over the years, the show has toured to over 1,000 venues, performed approximately 400 shows annually across the UK, and entertained celebrities such as Andrew Sachs, John McEnroe, and Joe Cole. It celebrated its 25th anniversary in 2022 and continues to receive rave reviews for its dynamic, interactive format that pays homage to the classic sitcom.
