ABOUT ATC
Join us for a two-week partner acrobatics training camp led by Duo Die Acrobatics, Christine Moonbeam, and Micah Ellinger. The four of us LOVE working through skills utilizing thoughtful and effective breakdowns to pave the pathway toward efficient acrobatic skills. Combining our love of training is what led us to create this training camp.
This camp is designed for acro pairs (or small groups) who want to refine their skills, build precision, and cultivate ease in their partnerships.
We focus on breaking down skills thoughtfully and effectively to guide participants toward efficient acrobatic techniques. Our goal is to help you condition both the physical and mental aspects of acrobatics, while strengthening your personal practice and enhancing your partnership.
You'll gain a deep understanding of the fundamentals that apply to all acro skills. With Christine and Caitlin coaching flyers, and Micah and Dane specializing in the "engine room" of partner acrobatics, we’re excited to share our passion and expertise with you.

⏰ Time: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM, Monday–Friday (weekend off)
📍 Location: Osega Dream Academy, Arden (just outside Asheville, NC)

CURRICULUM OVERVIEW
Our training will include:
Dynamic standing skills: foot-to-hand, hand-to-hand, pitching, and balance.
Flyer air awareness and advanced skills like one-arms and handstands.
Spotting techniques and progressive skill development.
We'll support you in achieving your individual goals, with structured classes and guided open training sessions. Goal-setting will be an essential part of the camp.

PREREQUISITES
Partner Skills (to be filmed and submitted):
Entrance and exit to standing hand-to-hand (H2H) x3, unedited.
Entrance and exit to standing foot-to-hand (F2H) x3, unedited.
Standing tuck sit to carry down.
Icarian straight throws (seated, plank, log, 2 points of contact) x3, unedited.
Seated to plank and plank to seated.
SOLO SKILLS (to be filmed and submitted):
Two different entrances to a handstand, 3 reps each (choose your style).
SOFT SKILLS (no video needed):
Detail-oriented, communicative, and willing to assess and improve your partnership.
Open to progressive training and learning effective breakdown techniques.

ATTENDANCE
To ensure a personalized experience, we’re capping attendance at 30 students, plus 4 fully-funded fellowships.
Full-time attendees and pairs will be prioritized during the application process.
