"Trekking Through Time and Space"
Join us for our 4th season of Star Trek Attack Wing. Follow our captains as they hop through time and space in season 4. New players welcome (just bring any captain, elite and resource). We continue Season 4 using our custom Captains as they play out iconic Trek episodes.
Fleet Build: Bring a 75pt Fleet (one or more ships) with ships from ally factions (Federation, Klingon, Romulan). Your upgrades can be from any ST:AW faction (paying appropriate SP penalties). Your story-line captain, his elite talent(s) and resources are assigned to one ship in your fleet (for free). Escape Pod for free.
For our May session, will be reenacting the following episodes:
* Star Trek Picard: Seventeen Seconds - The USS Titan and Shrike face off in a Nebula.
Team Play (2 vs 2). Nebula Combat Rules: No Scan or Target Locks. Attacks only at Range 1. Only use 1 & 2 move templates. Cloaking doesn’t add defense die. Each ship destroys 2 shields. Ships may change “elevation” (low or high). Ships at different elevations are at Range 3 for firing and for game effects. Ships on other elevations may overlap. Gravitational Well Rules: After activation, a ship is “pulled” towards the Well using a 1-movement template. Overlapping the Well causes 1 damage.
* TNG: The Measure of a Man – Data goes on Trial.
Debate Scenario. Question 1: Should society pursue the creation of a sentient artificial being, one with self-awareness, values, preferences, and a conscience. Question 2: What are the technological, economic, socio-political, cultural benefits and risks?
* DS9: Once More Unto the Breach – Martok's battle plan to hit Dominion Facilities in a "Cavalry Raid"
Team Play (2 vs 2). There are 4 play areas, ships must continually move forward. Score VP for damage dealt. The targets (shipyards, star bases, facilities) can shoot back or deal damage back to the attack. Repair is NOT allowed.
