About the event

Nurdle hunt

Learn more about nurdles, what they are and why they are a problem. Join us as we look for them on the beach and record for Fidra.

We will be looking at a small section of the beach and searching for nurdles. These are small lentil sized pieces of primary plastic. This is how plastic is transported around the world to be made into other things. Unfortunately they get spilt and pollute our water.
Any nurdles and small plastics we find we will take off the beach, document and record what we find, submitting onto a map of nurdle finds around the world.
