Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for the Trails of St. John

One of the oldest churches in the WNC mountains, St. John in the Wilderness continues to experience renewal through learning about its history and opening itself to the wider public. The church will open a new trail system called The Trails of St. John to the public on the first weekend in September. Join us on Sunday, September 7, for our ribbon cutting ceremony at 1:00pm and the other fun events we have scheduled throughout the day:

8:45am - Holy Eucharist in the Church

9:30-10:30am - Parish Breakfast in the Parish Hall

11:00am - Holy Eucharist in the Church (Dress church casual for hiking after the service!)

12:30pm - Refreshments in the Rector's Garden and Parking Lot

1:00pm - Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

1:30pm - Guided History Hikes with Fr. Josh Stephens and Holy Hikes of WNC Leaders
