Science Day & Open House

Get hands-on with science! 🍃 Make your own plant and flower press, learn about fall gardening and mulch, and dive into other activities inspired by our Shifting Life Zones exhibit. 🧑🏽‍🔬Museum researchers and experts from the Arizona Science Center and Meteor Crater Education Alliance will be on hand to guide you through the wonders of science. 💭Curious kids and adults alike are invited to explore, create, and discover.

1 PM: How large extinct animals have shaped our ecosystems and us | Chris Doughty, PhD, professor at Northern Arizona University

3 PM: All My Gardens are Wild: 30 Years of Ethnobotany | Phyllis Hogan, founder of the Arizona Ethnobotanical Research Association
