Leadership Development Program - Flagstaff
If you are in a leadership role, this 7 session cohort will teach you the skills you need to lead your team.

About this Event

Many employees are promoted into supervisor positions or startup companies have owners that do not have the knowledge of the soft skills needed to succeed. This often results in the loss of valuable employees due to dissatisfaction, or in the case of business owners, the failure of the company. This Leadership Development Program has a proven track record of helping people enhance their supervisory skills to be better equipped to manage a team or run a small business.

This program is funded by the Small Business Opportunity Program (SBOP). SBOP programs will serve businesses in a wide range of industries, including agriculture, construction, cybersecurity, health care, mining, technology, transportation, and manufacturing, including biomanufacturing, EV manufacturing, and semiconductor manufacturing.

The program will consist of 7 essential classes for leaders and will be delivered in 4-hour increments, every Wednesday for 7 weeks from August 13th - October 2nd, 2025 (skipping one week between Sept 17th and Oct 2nd) . The topics are listed below along with class dates.


  • Session 1: New Supervisor Essentials (August 13th)
  • Session 2: Effective Communication (August 20th)
  • Session 3: Conflict Resolution (August 27th)
  • Session 4: Overview of Lean with Simulation (September 3rd)
  • Session 5: Time Management (September 10th)
  • Session 6: Team Dynamics (September 17th)
  • Session 7: Change Management (October 2nd / skipped 1 week)

Who Should Attend:

The workshop is designed for new business owners or recently promoted employees who are leading others or aspiring future leaders.
