The Grand Canyon Music Festival has been producing award-winning concerts and education programs, presenting outstanding artists, premieres, and commissions by American composers, serving the greater Grand Canyon communities of northern Arizona since 1983!
The Manhattan Chamber Players reflect the GCMF’s tradition of exciting young musicians invited to our stage with a warm, familial twist: Two of the members of the group, Brendan and Brook, are the sons of the longtime GCMF friend, cellist, David Speltz.
In addition to performing with the Manhattan Chamber Players, Brook and Brendan are members of the Escher String Quartet. Pianist David Fung is frequent guest of the world’s premiere orchestras, and violist Luke Fleming, in addition to being the Artistic Director of the Manhattan Chamber Players, is Artistic Director of the Crescent City Chamber Music Festival in New Orleans, and Artistic Program Director at Chamber Music Monterey Bay.
