YOU'RE A GOOD MAN, CHARLIE BROWN is a 1967 musical with music and lyrics by Clark Gesner.
It is a charming musical built from a series of vignettes that mirror the comic strip format of Charles M. Schulz’s Peanuts.
The show unfolds over the course of an “average day” in Charlie Brown’s life, blending whimsical moments with heartfelt reflections. There’s no overarching plot—just snapshots of childhood joys and struggles.
YOU'RE A GOOD MAN, CHARLIE BROWN bubbles over with themes that are deceptively simple—just like the Peanuts comic strip it draws from—but they resonate deeply with audiences of all ages.
