BMV Letter Writing: Protect Trans IDs

The Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles (BMV) is seeking public comment regarding proposed changes to Title 140, which would effectively ban transgender Hoosiers from changing their gender marker on their ID. The deadline for public comment is July 18 for emails and letters.

Join local community members on Wednesday, July 16, at the Hamilton County East Public Library in Fishers to write letters and send emails. Templates for letters and emails will be provided. Please bring supplies such as pencils, postcards, paper, envelopes and stamps.
