Join us this fall for the Officer Sixto Maldonado, Jr. Memorial 5K Run & 2 Mile Walk, a special community event honoring the life and service of Officer Sixto Maldonado, Jr.

On August 19, 1975, Officer Maldonado made the ultimate sacrifice while serving the City of Firebaugh. Nearly 50 years later, we gather to remember his courage, dedication, and the lasting impact he left on our community.

This memorial run and walk isn’t just a tribute — it’s a way to carry his legacy forward. Proceeds from the event will fund a scholarship for graduating seniors at Firebaugh High School who plan to continue their education.
