AUGUST 1ST - DAN GORDON
Anyone who has heard Dan play knows what an incredibly accomplished musician he is. Now calling Fernie his home, Dan originally hails from the UK where he has played on stage with some big names like Ward Thomas and done everything from the big summer festival circuits to hosting local pub jam nights. Come see what quality musicality Dan will bring to the patio at The Bayleaf!
AUGUST 8TH - TIM KETCHUM
Tim Ketchum, a long term Fernie local is no stranger to the Elk Valley music scene. Fronting local band The Relief Committee as well as performing solo, Tim has played many venues across Fernie. You can expect beautifully delivered folk and classic rock songs and just a few jokes and witty banter in between for good measure.
AUGUST 15TH - TENISE MARIE
Tenise Marie is a Canadian songwriter, vocalist, multi-instrumentalist, performer, and recording artist based in Nelson, British Columbia.
Having grown up listening to strong female singer songwriters like Joni Mitchell and Joan Baez, falling in love with Soul, R&B, Gospel, Jazz, and now exploring the sounds of her Middle Eastern roots, Tenise's music weaves together each of these influences, while remaining focused on lyrics that cause us to examine our own humanity.
AUGUST 22ND - ABBY YOUNG
Originally from Hamilton, Ontario, Abby Young is an emerging indie singer-songwriter based in Fernie, British Columbia. With a sound characterized by soft melodies and lyrics that are both deeply personal and universally relevant, her music invites listeners to find fragments of their own stories within hers.
AUGUST 29TH - ISAAC BROTHERS
The Isaac Brothers are a singer-songwriter duo from the Canadian Rocky Mountains, made up of Noah and Mica Isaac. Known for their blend of rhythmic guitar, melodic piano and rich vocal harmonies, their music creates a rootsy, folk-inspired sound. The duo performs both original songs and heartfelt covers, drawing inspiration from the majestic mountains they grew up in. With their unique blend of storytelling and soul-stirring melodies, The Isaac Brothers bring their take to Americana music.
