You are invited to awaken into the remembrance of your sacred Self during this 3 hour immersion into the story, life, and teachings of Miryam of Magdala! We will be honoring her as the saint, Apostle to the Apostles, myrrh-bearer priestess, and embodiment of the Divine Feminine.
The event will begin with an opening intention setting ceremony and meditation, next you'll journey through a slideshow as we unearth her-story according to the canonized Gospels, Gnostic Gospels, historical timeline, folklore and legends as well as her messages to the world. We'll end the event with a closing ceremony where you'll have opportunities to participate in a self-reflective activity, share your thoughts, and seal it all with a guided meditation.
This workshop takes place Sunday, September 28th, 2025 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. The suggested arrival time to find a seat and settle in is 12:45 p.m.

About your Instructor:
As a child, Shannon was taught the practices of yoga, and meditation by her parents. As an adult, her path began with massage therapy, specializing in oncology, hospital care, and deepened as a Reiki Master.
Her yoga studies spanned multiple traditions, including - Ashtanga, an immersive training in yoga therapy, and at an ashram. She lived at the ashram for 5 years, where she practiced a devoted lifestyle, led their yoga teacher training program, and became initiated into the Kriya Yoga tradition through the Self-Realization Fellowship.
Today, Shannon shares her wisdom through her wellness practice as an entrepreneur, offering 1:1 therapies, women's circles, and spiritual retreats - guiding others towards remembrance of their divine nature.
Please note: This class will be held in-person at the Boston Tea Room located at 1220 Woodward Heights in Ferndale, MI 48220. Please pull into the driveway off of Woodward Heights and drive around to the BACK of the building for our free parking lot and entrance. When you arrive, head to the Reception Desk on your left to check in for the class and they will direct you from there.
Cancellation Policy: 24 hour notice is required in order to receive a refund, store credit, or exchange for a cancelled registration. To cancel your registration, call 248-548-1415 at least 24 hours prior to the workshop start time. Registrations made less than 24 hours prior to the workshop start time are nonrefundable.
Late Arrivals: Please note that those arriving after 1:05 pm will be considered late arrivals and will not be admitted into the workshop, as to not disrupt the class for other attendees. We are unable to offer refunds or exchanges for late arrivals.
