The Building Society 60-capacity saloon bar discotheque at The Stag, Treorchy is now in full flow, presenting a full program of Saturday night clubnight culture harking back to the glory days of the discotheque on Treorci High Street!
Join us beneath the slow-motion disco ball once more on Saturday May 10th for Trash - a May, 1985 special. In with the club's usual mix of classic indie, new wave, swinging 60s pop, rock and roll, Motown and glam rock, we'll re-visit the charts of FOURTY years ago - May 1985, which, to name but a few, were filled with nuggets like Tears For Fears' 'Eveybody Wants to Rule the World', Dream Parade's 'Life in a Northern Town, Madonna's 'Material Girl' and the Bronski Beat and Marc Almond's take on 'I Feel Love'.
We look forward to welcoming people of all generations once more to the cosiest and best/roughest-looking haunt in town for drinks, music, dancing, and as Lou Reed said, a walk on the wild side.
Entry:
A small number of advance tickets are made available for each event. They can be found at the link here:

The rest will be available on the door on the night, where entry is £5 (payable at the bar, including a free drink).
Travelling info: For those unfamiliar with Treorchy, The Stag is a 2 minute walk into the town from Treorchy railway station.
*The Building Society is not to be mistaken for The Banc down the road. Though we do have a pool table, albeit with just 4 pockets. *Due to limits on seating, the pool table will now remain out of action during the club events.
