This unique Martial Arts Workshop will launch a series on the world-famous in-fighting and tactile awareness training methods of MKG International Martial Arts! Discover the details of a functional and fascinating training platform rooted in generations of experience and cultural heritage.
Join Guro Kurt Cornwell, Michigan’s official authority on the MKG Method, for this first of three sessions that will teach you the ins and outs of training modalities like Filipino Hubad, Tai Chi Push Hands, Wing Chun’s Chi Sao / Sticky Hands, Wrestling Pummeling, Thai Clinch, and more!
Our August session includes in-depth information and three hours of hands-on training in the trapping and in-fighting aspects of the empty-handed Filipino Martial Arts, including:
- Panantukan Tactics
- Higot Hubad-Lubad
- Flow-State Access
- Functional Trapping on Focus Mitts
This workshop is great as a singular event, and does not require participation in future installments of this series. It is also a great primer for those interested in attending the September seminar with Sifu Rick Faye, head and founder of MKG.
