Hovander Annual Daylily Bloom Exhibit

Warm sunny days bring daylilies planted around the historic home at Hovander Homestead Park to peak bloom. Visitors to the WSU Whatcom Master Gardener Demonstration Gardens at Hovander will be treated to a special daylily bloom exhibit. Come and stroll the daylilies and then vote for your favorite bloom.

Master Gardeners will be on hand to explain how modern daylilies are different from what your grandmother grew and to answer your questions about daylily division and care. Note: Divisions of Hovander grown daylilies are available annually at plant sales sponsored by he Master Gardener Foundation of Whatcom County.
