Schmaltz & Pepper is redefining the traditional boundaries of Yiddish music, blending classical mastery with innovative compositions and soulful arrangements. Eric Abramovitz, principal clarinetist of the Toronto Symphony Orchestra, Drew Jurecka, a Grammy-nominated multi-instrumentalist and arranger, Rebekah Wolkstein, virtuosic violinist, vocalist, and composer, Juno Award-nominated bassist Michael Herring, and Juno Award-winning pianist, Jeremy Ledbetter, together are “a brilliant band” (Opera Ramblings).
