Pause for Parents
An evening to rest, reflect, and reset — just for you.
Parenting doesn’t come with a pause button — but this session might be the next best thing.
Pause for Parents is a once-a-month evening to breathe, reflect, and reset in a warm, welcoming space. Whether you're feeling stretched thin or just want time to reconnect with yourself, you’ll leave feeling clearer, lighter, and more grounded — with simple tools you can actually use at home.
What to Expect
A gentle arrival – Settle in with a warm drink, soft music, and time to just be.
Down-to-earth grounding – Try simple tools to calm your nervous system and feel more present (no experience needed).
Creative reflection – Use journaling, collage, or expressive art to reconnect with yourself.
Real-life takeaways – Walk away with one clear, practical idea — like how to ease screen stress, create calmer routines, or support emotional balance at home.
Optional sharing – Be part of a small, relaxed circle of fellow parents. Listen, share, or simply soak it in — no pressure.
Come once or return monthly — each session stands alone.
This is your space to feel human again — not just a parent.
To slow down, reflect, and leave feeling a little more like yourself.
Upcoming Themes Might Include:
Reset your week with mindful routines
Food & feelings: easy ways to support balance
Communication that connects
Small practices to soothe your nervous system
This is your space to simply be — to refill your own cup, one gentle pause at a time.
About Andrea
Hi, I’m Andrea — a parent, creative guide, and mental wellness practitioner with over 20 years of experience supporting families, youth, and adults.
I created Pause for Parents as a space I wish had existed when I was in the thick of busy family life — somewhere calm, welcoming, and real. A place to slow down, reset, and gather small, meaningful ways to feel more grounded and connected — at home and within ourselves.
My background blends creative expression, mindfulness, mental health, and practical coaching. Whether I’m working one-to-one or in groups, my approach is always centred on compassion, curiosity, and meeting you right where you are.
These evenings are for anyone looking to feel more supported — and maybe even inspired — as they navigate the messy, beautiful work of parenting and being human.
