Youth Art KClass - Jackson Pollock Inspired Painting

🎨Sign your student up today for our upcoming Jackson Pollock Inspired Painting art class for youth ages 7-15 at Kaddatz Galleries!

In this 2 hour class, students will learn about the artist, his creative legacy and get the chance to use his techniques to create their very own original paintings. This class is taught by local artist Jona Brown.

📅Class Date: Saturday, September 20 from 10AM-12PM

👩‍🏫 About the Instructor:
Jona M Brown is a Fergus Falls-based oil painting artist, known for her chicken, butterfly, and kitchen-inspired art. Inspired by unique items or an interesting character, she creates compositions that tell a story. Jona studied oil painting in high school and college. She received a BS in interior design from NDSU with a minor in bus. admin. Jona spent 30 years in retail, running Biffley’s & Bookmark and JCP Catalog. Currently Jona paints murals for the OTCHS, researches genealogy, teaches art and Sunday School, and maintains and restores her historic home. To expand her artistic skills and story-telling ability, she is exploring oil pastels and cartoon drawing.
