Adult Art KClass - Beginning Watercolor Painting

🎨Discover the joy of watercolor painting in this welcoming 3-hour class designed for complete beginners. Artist Jona Brown will guide students ages 17+ through essential techniques including color mixing, brush control, and wet-on-wet applications while you create your first watercolor pieces. All materials provided. No previous painting experience necessary.

👩‍🏫 About the Instructor:
Jona M Brown is a Fergus Falls-based oil painting artist, known for her chicken, butterfly, and kitchen-inspired art. Inspired by unique items or an interesting character, she creates compositions that tell a story. Jona studied oil painting in high school and college. She received a BS in interior design from NDSU with a minor in bus. admin. Jona spent 30 years in retail, running Biffley’s & Bookmark and JCP Catalog. Currently Jona paints murals for the OTCHS, researches genealogy, teaches art and Sunday School, and maintains and restores her historic home. To expand her artistic skills and story-telling ability, she is exploring oil pastels and cartoon drawing.
