Art in the Park with Queer Mountaineers - Dash Point!

Get the creativity jump started on this art themed hike! Join your fellow artists at Dash Point Highlands Park at 10:30a. From the park we will be following the trail that will lead us on to various trails taking us through the woods and onto the beach. Take pictures of the beautiful trees and wildlife we will get to see for inspiration as you make your way to the picnic tables at the end of the trail. There, we will take around 20 minutes to draw, write, or craft. Then we will pack up (leave no trace) and head back. The path we will take will be about 4 miles in total.

Gear Needed: Sturdy shoes that can get dirty, portable personal craft project (optional), day pack with 10 essentials, food, water, extra layers, sunscreen. Prepare for cold, rainy, and/or windy weather and check forecast before you hike.
