Native Plants: Creating a Backyard Habitat

Making your yard more attractive to pollinators can be rewarding, but increasing nectar and pollen sources is only part of the story. Beneficial insects, birds, and other wildlife need our help too! Learn how to improve the natural balance in your yard by choosing the plants and other conditions that beneficial insects, birds, and wildlife need to survive and thrive.

Presented by Angela Weiler, a trained Master Gardener from Cornell Cooperative Extension. Angela volunteers at the Native Plant Garden at Clark Reservation State Park and serves on the Town of Dewitt Advisory Conservation Commission. She is also a member of Habitat Gardening of Central New York.
