This program will take place at the John E. Pechmann Fishing Education Center at 7489 Raeford Road, Fayetteville, NC 28304.
Join our vibrant fly-tying community for the Fly-tying Forum, held in person every 4th Thursday of the month! This welcoming, hands-on gathering is a great way to connect with others, share tips, swap stories, and explore the art of fly-tying in a relaxed and supportive setting.
Open to anyone interested in trying fly-tying, whether you're brand new or have a few flies under your belt. No prior experience is required—just curiosity and a willingness to learn! Each month we feature new fly patterns and techniques, so there's always something exciting to discover.
July’s theme: Foam Flies (Topwater)
We'll be tying the Stealth Bomber and Gartside Gurgler—two dynamic patterns known for their topwater action and summertime success.
We provide step-by-step handouts with materials lists and instructions for each fly, perfect for building your own reference guide as your skills grow.
Ages 10 and up are welcome
Participants 15 and under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Whether you're tying your very first fly or adding to your collection, the Fly-tying Forum is the perfect place to tie, learn, and be part of a growing community.
