I’m heading back to one of my favorite spots, The Watershed Brewing Co, on Thursday, August 1 at 5 PM. But this time, I’m not coming alone.
I’m bringing along upright bassist Elaine Verstraete, and together we’re debuting a brand-new duo called The Front Porch Project.
This project is all about stripped-down, honest music -original Americana, blues, and folk tunes played the way they were meant to be heard: with heart, harmony, and a little dust on the boots. Elaine brings deep rhythm, warm tone, and a whole lot of soul to these songs, and it’s been a joy creating this new sound together.
If you’ve seen me at The Watershed before, you know the vibe: great beer, good people, and tunes that feel like home. This time, it’s all that and something new. Come grab a pint, pull up a chair, and settle in for an evening of music that sounds like it came off your grandma’s radio (if your grandma was kinda badass).
We’ll keep the porchlight on.
