‘I Swear’ screening

Teenager Johnny Davidson was diagnosed with Tourette’s syndrome in Galashiels in the 1980s, when the condition was barely understood. Isolated and reliant on strong medication, one day he meets the remarkable Dottie, who supports him on a life-changing journey. “The film is moving, funny and at times heartbreaking, but most of all it is important… I was enlightened and entertained” (IMDb).
