Summer Holiday Fun: Kids pine cone and pebble decorating Workshop!
Looking for a hands-on activity your kids will love, whilst raising money for a great cause? Join our charity of the year Dandelion time this Summer Holiday for our drop-in pine cone decorating & pebble painting workshop, perfect for budding young artists!
When: Thursday, 14th August 2025, 11 AM – 1:30 PM
Where: Macknade Food Village
Cost: Suggested donation £5 per child (100% of donations go to charity)
Your child will decorate pine cones and pebbles to take home in a gift box. It's a wonderful opportunity to create a personalised decoration - to enjoy in your own home or to gift to someone special.
The friendly team at Dandelion Time will be there to guide your child through the decorating process, ensuring they craft something unique, as well as enlightening you on the great work they do.

Dandelion Time is a nature-based charity that gives early support to children who've suffered from traumatic experiences such as domestic abuse and neglect. Nature, craft and family systems are at the heart of Dandelion Time’s approach enabling children to grow in confidence and resilience and achieve remarkable and long-lasting change in their lives. Their craft work brings benefits from a sensory experience, working with their hands to create something new from natural materials such as wood, wool and clay. Learning to experiment and try something new, and that sometimes things can go wrong but we can adapt and go on to create something beautiful.
No booking required—just drop in during the workshop hours.
Suitable for children aged 3–12 years, with adult supervision required.
While you’re here, don’t forget to grab a bite to eat, or refresh yourselves with some drinks from our Food Hall or Food Village.
