Mushroom Foraging & Picnic Day Retreat

Our foraging & forest bathing half-day retreat will be hosted on private propertly on Hussey Mountain. This special event is only available via reservation and is coordinated with the property owner.

• We will meet promptly at 9:30 AM to greet and meet in the parking lot.
• Our first forest bathing activity begins during our short day hike to our foraging location (roughly 1/2 a mile).
• This blends into an intro to mushrooms workshop and discussion prior to seeking the 'shrooms.
• We will then seek mushrooms. As we will be scattering and seeking, this will probably be around 1/2 to 1 mile or so of movement.
• Once workshop and foraging is finished, we will conclude our meal at the top of the mountain at the overlook.

Dress in comfortable, breathable hiking attire. Plan your outfit ahead of time according to the temperature. Wear appropriate hiking shoes. Bring a small backpack for your personal belongings or anything else you would like to bring.

The hiking trail is rough and considered moderate to difficult. Although we are only going a short distance, please consider this.

Please bring your own picnic style lunch. Lunch will not be provided.
