Friday morning's ascension will take place at beautiful Lake Farmington.
If you plan to watch the launch, here is what you need to know:
-Lake Access Fee will be waived from 7 to 9 am.
-NO WATERCRAFT allowed on the lake during the ascension.
-Additional parking has been opened for this event ONLY. Shuttles will run from the parking area to viewing locations around the lake.
-The road will be closed to through traffic past the campgrounds from 7 to 9 am during the event.
Those who wish to avoid crowds are encouraged to head to off-site viewing locations along the projected flight path. These include Saddleback Park, Lions Wilderness Park.
