About the event

Syttende Mai Celebration at the Sons of Norway

Everyone is welcome to our annual Syttende Mai celebration! It's Norwegian Constitution Day, and one of the biggest days in our calendar.

11:00 am-1:30 pm: Taste of Norway Luncheon. Enjoy smorbrod, lefse-wrapped hotdogs, lingonberry meatballs, rommegrot, riskrem, and sweet treats! All items sold a la carte.
2:00 pm: Traditional children's parade.
5-6:30 pm: Torsk and meatball buffet banquet, with music from our Accordion Band and Valley Ukes in the King Olav Ballroom. The buffet costs $30.
6:30 pm: Festive Syttende Mai program featuring the Kringen Choir, reflections on Syttende Mai in Norway, and a tribute to Carrol Juven.
7:30 pm: Dance with Tim Mosser in the King Olav Ballroom.

This annual celebration is one of the highlights of the year!
