Spices & Traditions: Chana Masala

This immersive class will showcase some of the rich culture and history of Indian cuisine as you prepare Chana Masala - a chickpea curry along with jeera rice and raita (a seasoned yogurt and cucumber dish). This class is so much more than following a recipe!

Originally from Mumbai, Kavita enjoys sharing the history of Indian food so you will not only learn the techniques to creating this delicious meal but also a firm understanding of how to utilize the various spices to recreate this dish time and time again. You'll walk away with a new understanding of how spices work together and the story behind this fantastic meal.
