Play with some soft clay and get your hands dirty while making a ceramic planter or vase! Learn how to construct a hand-built cylinder clay planter with textured surface design and even add a fancy scalloped rim to your piece. You'll choose from a variety of fun stamps and texture tools to create unique surfaces on your piece. These will be finished with a clear glaze and fired in my studio. You can choose to leave these all white or add a black or blue inlay oxide wash to really make those textures pop!
All pieces will be glaze fired with a clear glaze after the session. Finished size approximately 4" x 4" x 4'' after firing. Completed projects will be ready for pickup at Unglued about 2.5 weeks after the workshop.
This workshop is Friday, August 8th at 7pm at the Unglued Craftatorium at Brewhalla - 1702 1st Ave N, Fargo, ND 58102 (attached to Drekker Brewing - you'll find this workshop room on Brewhalla's 2nd floor!). This workshop is for ages middle school through adult. Each attendee must be a ticket holder.
