Reduction Woodcut Workshop with Rimer Cardillo

Join world-renowned printmaker, artist, and educator Rimer Cardillo for an immersive class in Reduction Woodcut. This specialized printmaking technique allows for the creation of richly layered, multi-colored prints from a single block of wood. Over the course of this three day workshop, participants will explore the step-by-step process of carving, printing, and re-carving a woodblock to build vibrant and complex images. With Rimer’s expert guidance and deep knowledge of traditional and contemporary print practices, students will gain both technical skills and conceptual insights.

Whether you’re a seasoned printmaker or new to relief printing, this is a rare opportunity to learn directly from one of the leading figures in the field.
