CETC Open Event - Wednesday 19 November

Our Open Event will give you the opportunity to find out what it is like to be a student or apprentice at CETC, our Civil Engineering Training Centre (CETC)

This purpose-built two-acre mock construction site is close to our CEMAST training centre on the Daedalus Airfield, and is dedicated to the delivery of a specialist Civil Engineering & Groundworks Apprenticeship and also specialist training in Highways.

CETC is designed to provide a fully operational, realistic groundworks and civil engineering training environment and is fully equipped with the machinery, tools, materials and resources needed to ensure you develop work-ready skills and complete the relevant licences required to work successfully on-site.

On-site equipment includes:

· Forward tipping dumpers

· Ride-on rollers

· Cement mixers

· Wacker plates

· 360-degree excavators

· Loading shovels

· Levelling equipment

· 180-degree backhoe loaders

· Construction vehicle simulators
