I am excited to announce that my teacher, author, friend, Buddhist nun, Emma Slade aka Ani Pema Deki returns to Cyprus this month to share her in-depth knowledge and experience with us once more.
She will be exploring and teaching how to calm the mind using meditation and how to bring this calmness into our daily lives.
Emma has a natural ability to teach, providing simple tools and techniques to calm the mind and how to navigate challenging situations, using these skills to support us.
All workshops will include some aspect of meditation, mindfulness & guidance for individual practitioners. Open to all to practice and learn together & All levels of experience are most welcome.
Emma has spent much of the last 13 years in Bhutan and remains the only Western woman fully ordained and trained in Buddhism within Bhutan. Her decision to found a charity to help special needs children in Bhutan remains central to her life and belief in the power of compassion - Opening Your Heart to Bhutan. She will also introduce her amazing journey of 403 km West to East of Bhutan later this year to raise funds for her charity - A Woman of Altitude.
Each workshop offered is to raise money for the charity & has a suggested donation. ALL monies raised will go directly to her charity.

10:00 – 12:30 /13:00 An inspiring session of Buddhist teachings & Yoga & what both Yoga & Buddhism say about happiness. And how these teachings can assist us in challenging & uncertain times.
13:00 Lunch at Pool restaurant
Session 2
14:00 – 16:00 The essence of Buddhist Mindfulness & how to include mindfulness into our daily lives.
