Bellydance Shows CY is a new artistic brand that aspires to highlight the modern side of bellydance in Cyprus and bring the audience closer through highly aesthetic shows by renowned professionals, combining art and fun/interactive entertainment. The group of professional dancers appears all over Cyprus at venuesm receptions, events & television programs. Their performances stand out while they have already collaborated with recorded artists from Greece, Cyprus.

The artistic director of Bellydance Shows CY is Maraiya:
Maraiya is a professional dancer, teacher and choreographer based in Cyprus. She begun early her education in performing arts attenting musical theatre lessons and very soon she followed a teachers' dance system education along with further education in music. During this artistic pursue she came across bellydance, she immediately begun to train and as a result she distinguished in multiple competitions with solo and group participation. Remarkable is that while she is dancing professioanal also in other styles covering contracts abroad, venues and events inland she remains genuine to her approach performing each style as near to it authentic form possible. Her skills and understanding result in a beautiful connection with her audience, her performances are highly entertaining while she keeps excellent technique.
