Autumn woodland wander, Falkirk Tunnel and Cake!
Fancy joining the rangers for a 5 mile Autumn woodland wander? (cake included of course)
The walk starts at Bantaskine park on Lochgreen Road. See map.
Parking is available.
We will be heading downhill into Bantaskine park past the Seagull Trust and onto the Union Canal, Following the canal all the way along and through the The Falkirk Tunnel and then heading up to the Milk Barn for tea and scones. From here we will follow the paths into Cleuch woodland, Greenrig strip and then into Lionthorn. Great views up here.
A wee wander along the Battle of Falkirk Trail before heading back to Bantaskine.
This is an easy route of around 5 miles. Path surfaces are good.
