It all started when... The Lizards made their debut in 2013, playing sold out shows and festivals to hundreds of fans. The band’s main goal is to recreate the Phish Experience. Whether it’s their ever changing setlists, synchronized dancing (or trampoline-ing) or touring with their own lighting rig and director (TG5), the band is committed to giving people that same feeling as the one we’ve all felt many times before.
The Lizards make it possible to gain that experience in our own backyard, with many feeling it’s been a long time coming that a band can create a community in this country for such a style of music. The Lizards intend to show everyone that they, above all things, can once again bring together a congregation of like-minded people that all want the same things: good times, good music & sore legs!

Funknut was formed in 2006 to spread the message of love using their instruments. Combining the improvisation of jazz, the greasiness of funk and the honesty of soul, they are a force to be reckoned with. Funknut has been described as "Skillful and masterful" by City Newspaper and put simply, "Funktastic" from Jambands.com. Led by Tony Gallicchio on the keyboards, it has always featured a rotating cast of Rochester's finest funksters. This lineup consists of Chris English on drums and vocals, Paul McArdle on guitar and Sean Mclay on bass and vocals. Every night is different from the last and full of surprises from some of NY's best musicians. Over the years, the band has amassed a growing, loyal fanbase. The funk is alive!

Audiences are well acquainted with Eli Flynn as a current member of the bands Giant Panda Guerilla Dub Squad, Upward Groove, and The Able Bodies, and on the stylistically diverse “Running With Scissors” — his debut solo album —there’s never a dull moment. “Easier” demonstrates Flynn’s prowess as a rock vocalist as he snarls his way through the melody with a limber range and soulful swagger that recalls the aplomb of Gavin DeGraw on his 2003 breakthrough album “Chariot” “Every Word Is a Mountain” borrows from The Able Bodies playbook of danceable ’90s pop that grooves, but mixed metaphors about “my love in a sling” and “broken logic hanging from a silver chair” distract from the song’s natural charms. Flynn’s words regain focus on the very next track. “There was a time in the beginning when devotion kept me spinning but that time is past,” he sings with calm wisdom on “Hell in a Handbasket.” Slide guitar and a Fender Rhodes organ sound meld over a loping tempo that flows like a lazy river: “Have you ever met your demons, took their advice without reason? Well I have.” Throughout the record, occasional wisps of soul and funk refresh the natural charm of Flynn’s charismatic tunes. The music was entrusted to sound engineers Lincoln All and Aaron Lipp, whose supervision of mixing and mastering, respectively, gives the album its polish. — BY DANIEL J. KUSHNER

Public Water Supply is Rochester’s premier Alt. Rock/Indie Americana act. PWS consists of six university-trained musicians, blending distinctive songwriting, spectacular vocals, and incredible instrumentalists. The band members include: Iggy Marino, frontman; Karis Gregory, Jr., lead guitar; Alex Brophy, team captain and bass; Spencer Kornrich, bus driver and drums; Jordan Paresk, fiddle and vocals; all masters of their craft! The band has been seen on Fox Rochester, WXXI Connections, and Opening Tunings. PWS has performed in the Rochester Lilac Festival, Borderland Music Festival and Estival Festival GrassRoots, and the Rochester International Jazz Fest.The group has boogied their way across the Northeast, Great Lakes, Mid-Atlantic, and New England states. PWS will pack a punch in the year 2025 as they tour their second album, General Strike.
