Think you’re a capable crime solver? A puzzle professional? A stellar sleuth? You’re in luck – there’s been a murder at a speakeasy, and everyone’s a suspect.
WVU Medicine Fairmont Medical Center will send amateur detectives back to the Jazz Age at “Speak Easy of Murder,” a night of 1920s-themed mystery and entertainment in support of the Friendly City’s hometown hospital. The event will take place at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 9, at Crystalline Event Center in Fairmont.
As participants unravel clues to finger the killer, the evening will also feature a silent auction. While not required, attendees are welcome to come decked out in their best Prohibition-era looks.
Individual event tickets are $75 and available for purchase online through the WVU Foundation.
Businesses can treat their guests to a night of fun by taking advantage of several available sponsorships, and silent auction item donations are welcome.
