Celebrate all things art this summer during Imagine Martin's Thursday Night Art Marts. Join me, local Fairmont artist, for a fun evening creating the adorable Mini Lily Pad. I've been invited to teach classes during select Art Marts throughout the Summer. Seating is very limited and classes are held at the Information Hub (Imagine Martin) located in downtown Fairmont.
This class is great for beginners! Plus, all students will receive a clip frame similar to the one pictured. And artworks will measure roughly 2.5 x3 inches (subject to change based on frame availability).

New to oil pastels or just feeling nervous? No Worries, I've got you! In all my classes I break steps down into easy instructions and we practice techniques on scrap paper so you'll feel confident when creating your final piece.
Materials:
Paper: White Bristol paper (8x6 inch) and scrap paper
Oil Pastels: Mungyo Gallery Soft Oil Pastels
Misc.: blending stumps in various sizes, paper towels, masking tape, etc.
*Instructor will provide all necessary materials for this class, however, if you would like to use your own materials (i.e. paints or brushes), students are more than welcome to bring their own.
About the Venue: Feel free to bring snacks and a drink. However, please do not bring alcohol. Please be kind and courteous to our host, Imagine Martin, and clean up after yourself if you do choose to bring a snack/beverage. Seating is limited to 5 people per section as we'll be in The Hub's smaller Board Room Meeting space.
