The fleeting images of our dreams are gentle communications from our unconscious, revealing deep knowledge that often eludes our waking minds. Dreamwork invites a reflective engagement with dream elements on both personal and archetypal levels, with the aim of integrating guidance from the unconscious into everyday life.
Because the unconscious dwells in the realm of the unseen, exploring its messages in community can offer forms of illumination that may not present themselves when working alone. Dream circles create a sacred space where dreamers gather to share, reflect and listen as we learn new ways of working with dreams in supportive community - a beautiful reminder that we are not alone on this journey, that we are seen, heard and held as we traverse the path of life.
Each circle will provide:
**gentle movement and breathing techniques to relax the body and mind;
**a new technique for working with our dreams; and
**an opportunity to explore dreams brought to that month’s circle.
Please bring a journal and a dream you would like to explore to each circle. It is helpful to write your dream in your journal prior to the circle.
In addition to the above, we will also explore:
**the nature of dreams;
**common dreams and symbols;
**the benefits of dreamwork; and
**methods of recalling and recording dreams.
