KR post-marathon BBQ 2025

To celebrate/recover from the Sydney Marathon we're organising a BBQ two weekends afterwards at Rosherville Reserve/Chinamans Beach. Join us for good food and company whist enjoying this lovely part of Mosman. As the weather is getting warmer some of us may even brave a swim off the adjacent Chinamans beach!

We'll start gathering from around 1pm and aim to cook some food around 2pm. There are communal electric BBQs we can use and depending on numbers we may organise a separate gas BBQ as the shared ones get busy.

Bring food, drinks, chairs and blankets if you can, but most importantly bring yourself. Please see enclosed poll regarding food.

Guests and little ones are welcome. There is a play area in the park and plenty of space for games.

Parking may very limited but there are no restrictions. Those travelling by public transport will find the bus stops on Spit Road opposite Parriwi Road the most convenient, then there is a steep but short walk down to the reserve.
