About the event

May Speaker Series

Please join the Fairhope Museum of History on Saturday, May 31st, at 1pm in the Museum Council Chamber for the May Speaker Series with Sonny Brewer on Moving the Round House! Sonny Brewer, author of The Poet of Tolstoy Park, a novel about the life of Henry Stuart, discusses moving the round house that Henry built a hundred years ago. The City of Fairhope has designated a wooded site for the relocation in the new Flying Creek Nature Preserve, which opens this summer.

Admission is FREE and open to the public and refreshments will be provided!
