Hailing from Norwalk, Connecticut, Residual Groove has rapidly made a name for themselves in the jam rock scene with their vibrant energy and musical prowess. Formed by brothers Kiran Edwards (keys/vox) and Previn Edwards (guitar/vox), the band is rounded out by the rhythmic talents of Henry Thomas (drums) and Garrett Halstead (percussion).
In 2024, Residual Groove released their highly anticipated debut album, In Dream Time, which was met with widespread acclaim from fans and peers alike. Their innovative sound and compelling live performances have earned them respect from established jam bands such as Goose, Eggy, and Neighbor, who have all praised the band's unique blend of musicianship and creativity.
Residual Groove has had the honor of opening for some of the biggest names in the jam and funk scenes, including Andy Frasco, Eggy, Dogs in a Pile, Karina Rykman, Neighbor, Vasudo, Pigeons Playing Ping Pong, and Melt. Each performance showcases their dynamic ability to use structured songs as springboards for adventurous and well-executed improvisational passages. This seamless transition from one musical journey to the next keeps audiences enthralled and ensures each show is a unique experience.

The Far Out is a funk and soul pop band from Boston, Massachusetts. They engage their audiences with high-energy grooves, lush vocals, and funky horn lines, supported by undeniable chemistry of a group of lifelong friends. You’ll often catch the group of multi-instrumentalists switching roles during their shows — passing guitars around, moving from lead vocals to horn section, or stealing a moment behind the keys. Their debut album, Greetings from The Far Out, is out July 11th, 2025. With this, a spectrum of styles and sounds that blends together funk, pop, indie, R&B, soul, Yacht Rock, ‘70s AM gold, Motown, and whatever else filtered through The Far Out’s unique sense of forward-motion retro-cool, the 'New Act of the Year' recipient at the 2024 New England Music Awards is ready to take things to the next level.
