Connecticut’s Got Drag!
It’s become a beloved tradition for RuPaul’s Drag Race to launch each new season with a talent show extravaganza. Now, ConnecticutDrag.com is bringing that same electrifying energy to the local scene with an all-new competition: Connecticut’s Got Drag!
Inspired by America’s Got Talent and the Drag Race talent show, this event will shine a spotlight on the incredible and diverse drag talent across Connecticut. We’re calling on drag performers of all kinds - whether you're a drag queen, drag king, drag thing, or any other kind of drag artist - to step up and show us what you’ve got!
HOW IT WORKS
Starting June 15, 2025 until July 31, 2025, we’ll be accepting 30-second audition videos showcasing any type of talent performed in drag. Whether you sing, dance, juggle, play an instrument, do stand-up comedy, perform magic tricks, or anything else - we want to see it! The possibilities are endless.
All qualifying videos will be featured on ConnecticutDrag.com in August, where the public will vote for their favorite acts. The top eight performers will advance to the LIVE competition at Trevi Lounge in Fairfield, CT, on September 13, 2025.
The winner will take home:
✨ A $250 cash prize
✨ A paid booking at a ConnecticutDrag.com show
✨ A commemorative plaque
✨ A coveted spot in the ConnecticutDrag.com Hall of Fame
✨ A seat at next year’s judges’ table
