Please come out to the NRA range for a little target shooting... If you're not a card-holder for the range, allow a little time to fill out the paperwork and do the quiz. If you're new to the range you need to be on time (no later than 615) for the registration.
I have some 'Battleship" targets you can play out with an opposing partner.
Some folks shoot individually. A few may compete with one another in some fashion. Some shoot handguns, others rifles, some both. Often someone is 'zeroing' in their scope and are quite serious. It's a mix. But it's also social. Do what you like within the rules of the range.
For those that have not been to the range, you'll need to pay a small fee ($10) and read the rules and take a short quiz, so you'll want to arrive a little early to allow some time for that. $15/hr for NRA members, a bit more for non. Details on the web

The range sells most common ammo and targets at very competitive prices, or bring your own. They do NOT rent guns.
It's pay-your-own-way, BYO gun(s) (or borrow from me or others) and BYO ammo (or buy on-site). You can rent ($5) or buy hearing protection and buy eye protection on-site. If you wear prescription lenses, that's usually sufficient, but you MUST wear glasses or clear impact glasses/goggles and hearing protection. I typically have one loaner set.
If you don't have a gun but are interested, post a comment below. Some friends attending are likely willing to loan you one.
This invitation is for a Thursday afternoon which is typically Ladies Night at this range (half price or discounts). When we go, we usually have 4 or 5 lanes that are just us.
By the way, the NRA does NOT allow any photography inside (though we have had a range officer shoot a group photo of us in the lounge) but we have taken pics by the range logo outside. Indoor photos posted on this event page were taken at another range.
NRA has 15 lanes, first-come, first-served, wait-list if needed, 1 hour time slots. It's common for 2 people to share a lane if you wish.
This is for a weekday, so factor in **traffic** from where you are departing.
After shooting, those that are interested convene at a nearby restaurant for food and/or drinks.
